Further to the first wave of Retail Digital Pulse (RDP) in the beginning of 2021, IDC in the second wave analyzed 1,304 retailers in eight markets, including Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, South Korea, India, Thailand, Indonesia, and newly added Japan, and across eight different segments (online, drugstores, specialty shops, convenience stores, department stores, restaurants, supermarkets, and hypermarkets/big box stores). The retailers were assessed for their digital maturity across five dimensions – strategy, technology, people, data, and process.
