    As the director of Global Healthcare Solutions at Google Cloud, Aashima Gupta sets direction for transformative healthcare solutions. She leads engagement with key healthcare executives, helping redesign their business strategies to define new models for care, revenue generation, and improved patient experiences. Her unique experience in driving change in healthcare settings at Kaiser Permanente and her presence at the frontier of technology innovations in Google Cloud Healthcare and Life Sciences, among many of her other contributions, are extremely valuable as healthcare continues to grow and evolve. She was recognized as one of the HIMSS 2019 Most Influential Women in Healthcare ITand is the founder of GirlsInTek.


    Alex Bauer

    Chrome Browser Customer Engineer,

    Alex Bauer works as a customer engineer on the Chrome Browser Enterprise team. He’s been with Google since June 2019. He works directly with enterprise customers and helps them with any technical questions they might have about their Chrome Browser deployments. Prior to Google, Alex worked in various roles at VMware and Boeing Co. with a major focus in mobility. He’s a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas and the University of Washington, and he lives in the Seattle area with his wife and kid. He’s a huge nerd and gearhead, and he spends his time building computers, flying drones, and wrenching on his car.


    Amy Waldron

    Amy works with leadership of global strategic clients, resources across Google and partners in the cloud eco-system to identify and deliver transformative digital solutions. She also serves as a point of contact for internal resources, alliance partners and industry affiliations on payor and provider market trends/issues. Prior to joining Google, Amy spent 20 years working with a global consulting firm in New York, Chicago and San Francisco, leading market growth strategies. Afterwards, Amy became a partner at The Chartis Group, a healthcare advisory firm. Amy and her teams have been recipients of several awards including: 5 AVA gold awards for digital innovations, The Financial Communications Society’s "Differentiating a 21st Century Professional Services Firm" award and the Brandon Hall "Excellence in Learning" award. Amy has an undergrad degree from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA in technology and strategy from Loyola University of Chicago.


    Cris Ross

    CIO,

    Mayo Clinic

    Cris Ross has 30 years of experience in healthcare, technology, and government. At Mayo Clinic, he’s responsible for all information technology. Since joining in 2012, he has revamped IT strategy, helped lead an enterprise-wide electronic health record convergence program, developed partnerships, and initiated major innovation programs in data, analytics, and machine learning. Prior to joining Mayo Clinic, he held technology and business leadership roles with Surescripts, MinuteClinic, and UnitedHealth Group.

    Cris is chairman of the board of the eHealth Initiative, and he serves on the boards of directors of the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and Zipnosis, an emerging telehealth vendor. He was a member of the Health IT Standards Committee for the US Department of Health and Human Services from 2009 to 2016, and has served on advisory panels for the American Hospital Association, American Medical Association, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, HL7, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.

    Cris has a Bachelor of Science in economics from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Business Administration from the Yale School of Management.


    Daniel Hanley

    Division Director,

    Brain Injury Outcomes,

    Johns Hopkins

    A leading expert on multiple types of brain injury, Daniel F. Hanley has been a professor of neurology, neurosurgery, and anesthesiology/critical care medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine since 1996. In 1999, he founded the Division of Brain Injury Outcomes and was named the Jeffrey and Harriet Legum Chair of Acute Care Neurology.

    Dr. Hanley’s 35 years in medicine have centered on the areas of clinical trial design, organization and interpretation of drug and device trials, development of strategic research plans, and FDA regulatory compliance.

    Dr. Hanley has received more than 70 clinical and basic research grants, predominantly from the National Institutes of Health and the FDA Orphan Products Grants Program. He has published nearly 300 articles in peer-reviewed journals, has received the Alexander Humboldt Research Prize for his accomplishments in brain injury research, and has extensive clinical trials experience in the fields of stroke, hemorrhage, trauma, and brain infections.

    Dr. Hanley is a graduate of Williams College and Cornell University Medical College and has board certification in internal medicine, neurology, and psychiatry.


    David Reis

    CIO,

    Hackensack Meridian Health

    David Reis serves as executive vice president and chief information officer at Hackensack Meridian Health in Edison, New Jersey, where he drives the value of IT through innovation, cost optimization, and risk management. David is a leading health IT expert in the digitization of healthcare, platform technologies, and telemedicine. He is particularly focused on the intersection of EHRs, true interoperability, and the consumerization of healthcare. David served eight years in the United States Marine Corps Infantry with a subspecialty in arctic and mountain warfare. He’s also held IT leadership positions in retail banking, public accounting, and higher education in addition to healthcare.


    Greg Klebanov

    CTO,

    Odysseus Data Services

    Greg Klebanov is the chief technology officer at Odysseus Data Services. Greg has over 20 years of experience in global IT development and delivery, including leading highly visible and innovative strategic initiatives within global Fortune 500 companies. Odysseus Data Services is a niche startup that offers unique expertise in building innovative software solutions and providing data management services in the domain of real-world evidence. Prior to joining Odysseus, Greg had spent over 18 years in the life sciences sector, where he led global IT teams at AstraZeneca and Bristol-Myers Squibb that were building complex data-driven business solutions, including for business stakeholders in R&D, clinical, regulatory, medical, commercial, and enterprise organizations.


    Ian Hoffberg

    Manager, Thought Advisory,

    HIMSS

    Ian Hoffberg is an accomplished professional with 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry ranging from outpatient clinical management to facilities management, including electronic medical records, patient engagement, project management, and nonprofit/membership oriented groups. As manager of the Thought Advisory team within the office of HIMSS CTIO, Ian executes activities to develop content relating to health information and healthcare technology. He also provides project management, oversight, and implementation of HIMSS-led activities, tools, resources, and initiatives.


    Ilia Tulchinsky

    Engineering Director, Global Healthcare Solutions,

    Google Cloud

    Ilia Tulchinsky is a software developer with over 20 years of experience spanning medical devices and integrations in neurology and electrodiagnostic fields, as well as mobile, media and data mining. In his 12 years at Google, Ilia has built scaled applications and infrastructure across enterprise applications, mobile, and information retrieval systems and has contributed to Cloud Life Sciences and open-source efforts. Ilia is the engineering director within Google Cloud Healthcare and Life Sciences, focusing on large-scale cloud-based computation support for healthcare protocols, data formats, and APIs and enabling secure and compliant high-performance analytics workflows and machine learning in the cloud.


    James Buntrock

    Vice Chair of IT,

    Mayo Clinic

    Mr. James D. Buntrock is the vice chair of information technology at Mayo Clinic, supporting Enterprise Platforms for Data, APIs, Identity, and Knowledge Delivery. He’s the Mayo Clinic IT executive co-sponsor for the Mayo Clinic technology platform, working with Google Cloud Platform and the strategic partnership between Mayo Clinic and Google. He’s also serving as the senior IT administrator for Mayo Clinic’s three collaborative centers – the Center for Individualized Medicine, the Center for Regenerative Medicine, and the Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery – supporting discovery, translation, and application of new models of care along with new diagnostics and therapies. James is a regular IT advisor for Mayo Clinic’s Department of Business Development and Medical Ventures, apprising them of new software and technology opportunities. He serves as the IT executive sponsor for the Mayo Clinic IT Fellowship Program and is currently an instructor in medical informatics at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.


    Jeff Jagoda

    Jeff Jagoda, a Chrome customer engineer at Google, has over 17 years of progressive IT technical and leadership development across multiple regulated industries, including retail, technology, government, and contracting. He is a subject matter expert and leadership champion for delivering business-transforming customer-facing and organizational-facing IT solutions. Jeff has broad background in various areas of technical expertise, including managing systems, software, and updates to keep organizations in compliance and secure.


    Mike Daoust

    Managing Director, Chrome Enterprise Customer Team,

    Mike Daoust has global responsibility for the customer sales and customer success functions for Chrome Enterprise. Mike has been with Google since 2008 and held leadership roles within the G Suite and Google Maps teams prior to joining the Chrome team in 2013. He’s committed to driving, both directly and with our ecosystem of partners, the global adoption of Chrome Browser and OS platforms (Chromebooks) across all enterprise segments and verticals. Prior to joining Google, Mike spent over 15 years in various leadership roles in cloud analytics and enterprise search as well as with the IBM Information Management business unit. He’s a graduate of Bowdoin College with an MBA from Boston College.


    Nassib Chamoun

    Founder, President, and CEO,

    Health Data Analytics Institute (HDAI)

    Nassib Chamoun is founder and CEO of Boston-based Health Data Analytics Institute (HDAI), which has built a broad platform of patient health predictors and clinical, operational, and management solutions for major health systems. Nassib is a serial healthcare entrepreneur, researcher, and inventor who, as founder and CEO of Aspect Medical Systems, developed and commercialized the BIS™ technology, a global standard for anesthetic effect monitoring.


    Peter Durlach

    SVP, Healthcare Strategy and New Business Development,

    Nuance Communications

    Peter Durlach holds a pivotal role in advancing the portfolio of healthcare solutions to align with industry pressures and the shifting needs of healthcare clients. He helped create the Healthcare division at Nuance Communications and drove significant growth between 2006 and 2011. He then briefly left the company to act as the entrepreneur in residence at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Prior to Nuance, Peter worked as a consultant, as president of Unveil Technologies Inc., and as vice president of marketing and business development at Lernout & Hauspie. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Vermont, where he received his Bachelor of Science in business administration.


    Vivian Neilley

    Solutions Consultant, Healthcare and Life Sciences,

    Google Cloud

    Vivian Neilley is a solution consultant in Healthcare and Life Sciences for Google Cloud. In this role, Vivian is responsible for designing and publishing solutions, as well as working with customers to ensure successful Google Cloud journeys. Her focus within the position is on enabling enterprise customers to leverage their data for advanced analytics. She began her career working as nursing staff support for a surgical unit, while conducting research that led to a publication on surgical start delays. She then moved on to pursue health technology at the American Telemedicine Association, where she played a role navigating state and federal regulatory bodies and legislatures. Immediately prior to joining Google, Vivian was in a similar role in solutions at IBM Watson Health, working on their clinical analytics platform.
