Artificial intelligence (AI) agents are software programs that can interact with their environment, gather data, and use that data to perform tasks to achieve goals. Agents promise to bring AI innovations to enterprises through tasks such as search, chat, and recommendation systems.  In this lab you will learn Google Cloud's Agent Builder, which allows you to define an authoritative source of information that you can then use to construct large language model-driven search, chat, and recommendation systems. This lab shows how to create and populate a Vertex AI Agent Builder datastore, how to create a search app connected to that datastore, and how to submit queries through the search engine.
