Chromebook offers extended to June 30, 2018
US schools that have not yet tried Chromebooks can receive free deployment or professional development services until June 30, 2018, when purchasing at least 30 Chromebooks and Chrome Education Licenses, while quantities last.

US schools who are replacing existing Chromebooks and Chrome Education licenses can also receive a complimentary audit or support hours from Amplified IT until June 30, 2018.

Creating Interactive Students Journals with Google Slides
“Now that my school is 1:1 with devices, I’ve switched from paper journals to interactive journals using Google Slides in my classroom.
It’s much faster to grade and track my students’ understanding.
I typically have students use their journals as a warmup to review previous lessons or introduce a new topic, and it’s been fun giving students a different way to share their knowledge.

Bringing Students around the World with Google Photos
I recently attended the FETC conference in Orlando and shared pictures and videos of the trip with my 1st graders using Google Classroom.

The Medfield Public School District in Medfield, Massachusetts has used G Suite for Education tools in creative new ways in their 5-year partnership with Google for Education partner EdTechTeacher.
With some grades using a 1:1 Chromebook approach and others using Chromebook carts, the school has been able to try projects like digital portfolios, collaborative data collection, and virtual travel adventures.
For example, students in Greg Keohan’s 6th grade geography class are completing a ‘Travel Adventure Project’ where they are using Google tools like Google My Maps, Google Flights, Google Earth, and Google Drive to research and plan a trip to a foreign country.
