The increasing mobility of the workforce, the growing adoption of cloud infrastructure and services, and the demand for more flexible bring-your-own-device policies in the workplace have forced us to rethink the traditional perimeter-based security model.

The Google Cloud context-aware access solution makes it easier for our customers to bring BeyondCorp – a zero-trust security model envisioned and adopted by Google in 2011 – into their organizations. With context-aware access, it’s simple to define and enforce granular access controls to enterprise applications and resources based on a user’s identity and the context of their request. You don’t have to move away from the endpoint security and management solutions you trust, and you don’t need a traditional VPN.

  • 10:45 AM–12:00 PM
Keynote: Bringing the cloud to you
Eyal Manor, Vice President Engineering, Google Cloud
Jennifer Lin, Product Management Director, Google Cloud
Pali Bhat, Vice President of Product & Design, Google Cloud
Christopher McFee, Senior Vice President of Enterprise DevOps Practices, KeyBank
Savinay Berry, Senior Vice President of Cloud Service Delivery, OpenText

    Speakers:

    • Ines Envid, Group Product Manager at Google Cloud, Anthos Networking
    • Samrat Ray, Senior Product Manager at Google Cloud, Security and Service Mesh

Join this session to learn how Google Cloud and VMware partner to help customers transform their IT and create and manage modern applications on-premises and in the public cloud.

Google Cloud announced Anthos, a hybrid cloud platform, earlier this year. We’ll explore Anthos and the use cases it solves, and dive into areas where Anthos integrates with VMware solutions, including networking, platform, and security.

You should leave this session knowing more about the Google Cloud hybrid platform and how it works with your existing VMware investments.
